In grade school and even in college I have always had a love/hate relationship with group projects. However, during certain group assignments I was placed with a group of individuals that were all willing to put in the same amount of work and wanted to get to the same destination. Each of us in the group knew the purpose and the goal of what we were to do. We see this same group effort and goal in some of the passages throughout the Bible.
In the book of Luke chapter 10 verse 1 we see that Jesus sent out those he appointed in groups of two. The point of journeying together would be for support (Galatians 6:1-2), keeping one another accountable (James 5:16), and to keep focused on the mission they were sent out for(Matthew 28:1920). There may come a time when God will send you on a mission that requires you to work with other people to attain a common goal; God to be glorified, people to receive salvation, serving those in need, helping to build up others in the faith, anything that He desires. Just trust that the mission God has you on and the people He places on your path are for a reason. God uses this pairing or grouping to show us that doing things together is sometimes better. This Christian journey is not only about our relationship with Christ(Matthew 22:37-38), but our relationships with each other(Mark 12:31). So when God gives you an assignment be open to the idea that He may also give you a partner. Trust His leading while you journey together.
Love you all, but God loves you so much more.
